For Memory, the R730xd has space for up to 24 DIMMS of DDR4 ram at 1.5TB, a huge upgrade from the previous generation DDR3 ram.
As for processing speed, the PowerEdge R730xd has enough sockets for up to two Intel® Xeon® Processors.
