Hi All, I’m using ICX6450-48 port 2-stacked switch in a my local environment, all stack ports are 10G. I have configured stack ports on both switch units in trunk mode (Trunk1: [1/2/1, 1/2/2], Trunk2: [1/2/3, 1/2/4]). I have observed few link flipping issues on ports 1/2/2 and 1/2/4. In
show statistics command, i see some InErrors as well as CRC. I exchanged
stack cables even replaced units, but problem still persists.I searched the release note “FastIron_08030s_ReleaseNotes_v2.1.pdf” for any issues related to stacking. i found below similar issue for model ICX7450.Is it applicable for ICX6450 too ?DEFECT000629828 —
Symptom — In an ICX7450 Switch/Router stacking configuration with the stack port is connected using passive
cable, sometimes the link statistics for 40G port shows InErrors or CRC errors received.
Condition — The errors are only seen when the stacking port is connected using passive cable.

I can’t find this contents in datasheet & Ruckus FastIron Administration Guide, Does ICX7450 switch require a lincense to use NAT funtion ?
Posted on 11 Jul, 2018, in Uncategorized
Is this possible on the ICX platform?I’m assuming no, as NAT and other L3 services aren’t yet available, but are planned.

I have two ICX 6450 24P switches at my garage. They run PoE for VoIP, Access Control and Cameras. I had a report that the cameras were no longer working. When I looked at the Inline Power the first time it showed various Power Issues so I rebooted the switch. After they came back up it showed that ports 1/1/2-1/1/13 were receiving 30000 mWatts and nothing else was available for allocation. The phones were still working but the cameras (1/1/19 – 1/1/22) were not. I then did a firmware update on them and now I show 0 Consumed or Allocated on both switches. Again, phones working, cameras not. Currently, I have injectors for the cameras and they are fine. Just not sure why I am getting the errors.

Multicast and UDP stop streaming issues:Hi All,I’ve been having major issues with a Hotel/Property running ZF7363’s and R500 AP’s in the rooms. AP’s need rebooting almost daily. They have a IPTV solution that connects to the AP as there is only 1x Cat5e cable available to each room. The Edge switches being used are HP5130 POE switches,The Samsung TV’s being used are Samsung AD690’s hotel tv’s. The TV’s stream perfectly for a couple of hours and then the udp/multicast steams stop. I still have full bi-communication with the TV over the network, but no streams seem to pass through. Only after a ap reboot the streams start working again.I have added a the following config onto the ZD3050 for each AP model being used.Ruckus(config)# ap-group system default
The AP group entry ‘System Default’ has been loaded. To save the AP group, type ‘end’ or ‘exit’.
ruckus(config-apgrp)# model r500 port-setting
ruckus(config-apgrp-port)# lan 2 qos igmp-snooping
ruckus(config-apgrp-port)# endandruckus(config-apgrp)# model zf7363 port-setting ruckus(config-apgrp-port)# lan 2 qos igmp-snooping ruckus(config-apgrp-port)# endOn the ZD controller i have configured LAN 2 to be an access port to Vlan 5 – which is the IPTV vlan. The Controller is currently on VersionSystem View Uptime= 339d 12h 53m
