NTP is syncing properly, and the time is correct, but 08.0.30t does not calculate the system started time properly. This adversely reports the wrong information to tools like Solar Winds, too.SSH@Building_15_Stack#sh ver Copyright (c) 1996-2016 Brocade Communications Systems, Inc. All rights reserved. Local DB user authentication does not work for Web Auth
Posted on 21 Mar, 2019, in Uncategorized
Hello everyone, I’ve done a stupid thing, it seems.I did erase the startup config on an ICX 7250 with aaa console enabled. Result seems to be that I erased the users from the local db, but not the requirement to login with one of those users on the console CLI.Is there a way to fix this?

How to configure ICX 6450 optical interface to use SFP optic instead of SFP+ optic?
Posted on 01 Mar, 2019, in Uncategorized
Hello all,I’m trying to set up some basic QoS functionality on a number of ICX7150 switches. I have all of my phones in a particular vlan and would like to have the switch mark any incoming packets on that vlan with an appropriate DSCP value. I thought that the command to do this was ip-dscp-remark 46, on the vlan in question. But this doesn’t apply to the vlan, but rather the whole switch. Anybody have any idea on how to do this?

Hi, since last december I have this security warning on our ICX 7250 switches where port security is enabled, its happening randomly on some ports. It’s not a “violation”, but a “refreshed” ?!?Example of today:W:Security: Port Security secure MAC address xxxx.xxxx.9c91 is refreshed on interface ethernet 2/1/28 and not moved to interface ethernet 2/1/25 in vlan xxxW:Security: Port Security secure MAC address xxxx.xxxx.9c91 is refreshed on interface ethernet 2/1/34 and not moved to interface ethernet 2/1/28 in vlan xxxW:Security: Port Security secure MAC address xxxx.xxxx.9c91 is refreshed on interface ethernet 2/1/34 and not moved to interface ethernet 2/1/19 in vlan xxxWhile a violation look like:W:Security: Port Security violation at interface ethernet 2/1/34, address xxxx.xxxx.4374, vlan xxxMy guest is the latest version of Windows 10 doing something and talking to other workstation on the same vlan, but not sure what?Does someone seen these warnings on there switches?thank youEric.
