Built for virtualization processes and technology, the Dell PowerEdge R730 combines powerful processing and storage power to handle any tasks thrown at it.
Starting with the processor, the R730 can be outfitted with any processor in the Intel® Xeon® E5-2600 v4 product line, which sports up to an octa-core processor at 3 GHz.
For memory, the PowerEdge server takes advantage of DDR4 ram speeds with 24 DIMM slots and up to 3TB of memory.
As for storage, the R730 can scale up to 16 x 12 GB 2.5” of SAS drives. It also comes equipped a high-performance 12Gb PowerEdge RAID Controller (PERC9).
For reliability and efficiency, the Dell R730 supports redundant and hot-swappable power supplies. Also hot-swappable, are the HDDs and fans for maximum cooling.
With Dell’s OpenManage Mobile App, you can take full control of Dell’s rack servers and manage it through your smartphone.
